Weezer bass player, Scott Shriner, and former guitarist for Dee Dee Ramone, Black President, and The Chelsea Smiles, Christina Martucci, release songs from their solo debuts to be initially released Friday, May 11^th to fans as part of a limited edition 7” vinyl companion picture disc for the recently released novel Johnny Future by notable Los Angeles-area novelist, Steve Abee.

The picture disc features three songs, including Shriner’s “Pretty (Watch the Shadow),” Martucci’s “Bad Ghosts,” and from legendary drummer of Tokyo’s Sex Machineguns, CJ Himawari—memorializing a defunct East Hollywood landmark transvestite/immigrant bar, The Blacklite—an unreleased and dark, Wilco-meets-Dinosaur Jr.-style tune called “Stage is a Box of Night.”
